This is the Study Guide for Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets, as shown in the photo, and not as the title suggests the book itself. I gave up waiting for Amazon to ship my copy, and bought it from a marketplace vendor instead. It’s OK, but a little pricey for what it is – basically just a set of multi-choice questions with answers in the back.
The actual book, Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets, is excellent, but apparently difficult to come by. I eventually found a used copy from an ebay seller in the US for $30. I’m only part way through reading it, but it’s already proved its worth. Highly recommended.

This is the wrost experience I had in amazon. This is not the actual book, it is the study guide only, meaning it is a very little book with questions and answers based on the actual book. Therefore, this is useless without the actual book.
Literally everybody is looking to buy the actual book because of the great content, while nobody care about the “study guide”. I see I am not the only one that ordered the book because the amazon title started with “Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets”.
I believe the title should start with “Study guide for” and it should also mention that this is not the actual technical book. I have the actual book I borrow from a friend and I wanted to get a copy for me to write notes and mess it around. The amazon image of this book looks exactly the same as the actual book, same format, same wording, same colours. It just starts with “study guide for”, which I missed to notice. Totally useless book.
Everything is very misleading.

This is more a comment on the state the book arrived than on the book itself, which as you can see by the pictures is not what I expected from a new book.

I have read it twice.
This books is more focussed on the Dow Theory than other, newer ways, but it is yet very good and if combined with an Elliott Wave book it would be perfect!
