Brilliant book, very well set out with step by step instructions accompanied by plenty of pictures. Written in plain language for you to understand. Well worth paying the money, however the cover tends to curl up (which ive found is a tendancy nowadays) so considering getting it ring binded.

This is the first of two books by the Winwick Mum who will show anyone how to make amazing socks all simply explained with pictures too. After your first pair you can then go on to make variety shown in this book. If you have never tried this then this is the book to get you started. Who doesn’t want to make a lovely pair of socks especially designed to fit just you with detailed instructions on how to go about it. A definite winner!

This book ha sbeen such a good help. I’ve been meaning to learn how to make socks for ages but though I was so clueless I had to wait until I could attend a kitting group in person again (due to the pandemic) I have been reading the blog from the author and it gave me the sense that perhaps, this was something I could try on my own. I bought the book as I find it easier to read the printed paper when I try things for the first time. The book is very well written and there are many pictures to help you along the way. You’ll get so many different options to knit your socks in many different techniques to chose from and this just makes it wonderful because whether you prefer a circular or dpn you will find instructions to knit your socks in the method that suits your preference. If you’ve been thinking about knitting socks for a while, this is the moment! Take the plunge and start knitting lovely socks!
