Very comprehensive and really thorough book with excellent images and simple explanations which take the user from beginning to more advanced photography. There are no issues with my copy of the book.

Just got this book and had a quick look through. It does not contain much you cant find in any other books and is needlessly taking space up with massive pictures that do nothing except make the page count look bigger that it should be. Mine also has a pretty bad printing error so its going back. I recently bought “Read this if you want to take photographs” which I find to be a much better book and at half the price. That being said if you want a big pretty book with lots of pictures this is for you. Don’t get me wrong, the content is like any other beginner book just twice the size for twice the price just not twice the knowledge gain.
