That Festive Feeling: the cosiest, most joyful novel you’ll read this Christmas
£0.90
To clear her mind, she sets off on early morning walks around a nearby lake and bumps into May, an older lady who is also new to the area, and her dapper Dachshund Monty. Quickly, a firm friendship blossoms. Then when Holly meets Bear, a rather large and rather attractive man, at the local pub, and his rescue dog Queenie, her stay at Nightingale Square suddenly feels even more appealing.
As the community comes together for the season’s festivities, Holly must start thinking about where her life will take her next. Some big decisions need to be made, but distractions close to home make thinking about the future more tricky than ever…
Will she get that festive feeling this Christmas…?

Honestly I love Heidi’s books, the Queen of feel-good. This is a wonderful and inspiring tale about Holly who like many of us had fallen out of love with her life and ended up with an uncertain future. When she meets May, Bear and the rest of the gang her life starts looking up. This is a lovely Christmassy tale of hope to warm your heart. Grab a hot chocolate, your cosiest PJ’s and enjoy every word. I did. Thank you for another perfect read Heidi.

Heidi Swain has certainly hit the festive mark again. I love Nightingale Square and its collection of residents. This time Holly is only a temporary resident. Her life as she knew it has changed. So she ends up house sitting for friends in Nightingale Square
Unbeknownst to Holly, her life is about to change forever. She meets May & Monty, Bear & Queenie, who all play a major part in changing it.
I don’t want to give more away, I don’t like reading reviews with spoilers, so don’t write them myself.
I will say this: Read this latest offering from Heidi Swain. The book is much more than a festive read.

Reading Heidi’s books is like being back with all your loved ones at once, and meeting new friends along the way. Already looking forward to her next book.

What a lovely story as always. You get drawn into their world, and can imagine the people and places. Even the dogs seemed real.

This is a lovely book, with all the warmth and love that we have come to expect from Heidi Swain. An added ingredient this time was the comedy element, which was such fun. Small dogs with character, a tongue-tied hero, and a colourful wardrobe transformation all provided chuckles throughout. Add in the cameo appearances of much loved characters from previous novels, and the hope of a future book about Holly’s next steps, and I was totally swept away by this book.

I couldn’t put this book down, the best I have read, you felt as though you were travelling with the 3 girls. I wish she would carry on where she left off with that book, there would be so much more she could add about all of their lives including children. Fantastic
