Received today and it’s lovely! Love the lights and my son did too! Was bigger than I thought it would be which was a lovely surprise!
Highly recommended gift, especially for anyone baby’s first christmas like mine ????????
The lights do go off after a moment but it is to save battery and as it’s for a small baby/child I hardly think the ‘negatives’ that others have mentioned are a problem. My 8 month old son loves it and that’s what matters! ????????

I was really looking forward to this book and adding to my collection but there are so many negatives.
So you switch the lights on at the back, they turn off after a few mins to save battery which is great but as it only last a few minutes we were still reading the book and so I kept having to turn it over and turn it off and on again to get the lights back on, there could have been a little button on that last page like with other light up books. A little niggle is that there seems to be a missing light down the left side of the tree, it just looks off in my eyes.
Another negative is the decoration and present pages which are next to each other in the book, have almost the same sensory part (shiny flat card) which is such a shame, they could have included a textured glitter or something for the decorations.
I also hate the fact the book is larger in size to the rest of the collection so now doesn’t fit with the others on our shelf.
That all being said, my 18mo is really enjoying it and of course he doesn’t mind about those negatives but I think for the price you expect more,

I feel like this book would be much better if there was more textures, say if one of the pages with the baubles or presents had a glittery or foil texture to them.
The lights are nice and bright and I like how they time off automatically after 5 mins to save on battery.

Received this today ready to give as a Christmas gift for my little grandsons. I was slightly worried after reading the other reviews but I absolutely love it! I knew it was bigger than all the others in this series as it clearly states this in the description. The lights sparkle beautifully on the tree and each page is a delight.
Looking forward to reading it to my grandsons now!

I’m not sure what some other people are expecting from a kids book to be honest. It’s a well made book that feels much higher quality than other that’s not my books. Lights are very bright and makes for a lovely book.
