The Advocate’s Labyrinth: Legal Suspense Murder Mystery (The Advocate Series Book 12)
£3.80
When Attorney Sabre Brown’s eccentric Aunt Goldie dies, leaving a series of cryptic notes, Sabre launches the most intriguing and frustrating investigation of her life. While sorting through the piles of junk her hoarder aunt left behind, Sabre must keep Goldie’s greedy, dysfunctional children at bay. But she also discovers unexpected treasures, family secrets, and her aunt’s suspicions that someone was trying to kill her. But soon Sabre is torn in another direction when she takes a case involving four children whose brother was murdered in their home, and no evidence of who killed him. When her PI boyfriend and good-natured brother step in to help, they also get caught up in the labyrinth of clutter, deceit, and attempted murder. Sabre must hold everything together long enough to bring a killer to justice, protect the child’s siblings, and carry out her aunt’s bizarre last wishes.

At this time in the world what could be better than daily kindness, this is a feel good story. It tells the story of one woman’s history and all that she learnt in her lifetime. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed, enjoy. Well done Author.

Although the book deals with the most despicable of human traits: child abuse, murder, greed, jealousy, self entitlement and many other human nasties in between, the reader is left with a warm feeling of hope. There are good people, who would do what it takes – to help a stranger, comfort a child – and this takes the edge off the bitter sweet tale. A good read.

The best story good interaction between the various characters. The interesting thoughts that there is scope to carry on the story and see what happens to the. Children. More please Teresa

Another great read and familiar characters to those who follow Teresa’s books. Always look forward to the next one. A great author indeed.

This story is rather different to the others in the series because there is only 1 child case and a lot about Sabre’s family. I found it very interesting, although a little predictable in the areas of finance and anonymous charity work. However, it was all written in such a way that it kept me reading to find out what happened next. The case was harrowing, as frequently happens in Teresa’s books, and was concluded satisfactorily. The remainder of the story is far from complete, with Sabre having new responsibilities and a bigger family. I’m looking forward to the next book!

It certainly is labyrinth ! Sabre is definitely kept spinning so many plates in the air. She’s very fortunate to have her male friend, brother and co-worker who are always by her side no matter what ! I like knowing the characters it allows me to concentrate on the nitty gritty. The tangle and the undoing of its web. Although I was taken aback with the sudden ending in ! Turned the page and there it was, finished !!

Both family and friends are in a either over the death of their Mother but relationships cause problems as with the Advocates other work.
