Ghost of Tsushima has got to be one of the most beautiful looking games on Playstation 4. A game with spectacular scenery, gorgeous lighting effects and a huge selection of colourful costumes, armour and weapons with which to equip your Samurai character Jin Sakai. I was therefore disappointed that the Art of Ghost of Tsushima did not do justice to the game’s artistic merits. The artwork in the book is not as vivid as in the game and it is difficult to see the variations in the detail of costumes and weapons for each character. The landscape examples are similar in that some areas are very dark and hard to distinguish. Some reviews have mentioned a “washed out” or ” colour bleed” appearance to the pictures which I think is a fair comment.
Having said the above, I would still recommend this book. There are hundreds of illustrations. It shows the attention to detail put into making this game feel authentic. Short character biographies, the various kinds of landscapes to explore, a storyboard chapter. So, although not as vivid as the game, the book will still appeal to those who loved Ghost of Tsushima.

This book is beautifully made, it’s perfect for fan of the game or fellow art students who want to learn the production process of this master piece. I’d recommend for fans of the game, art book collectors and fellow concept artists.

This art book has alot of beautiful illustrations of the game and the overall look of the book made reading it even more fun.
The book doesn’t have a spine in a way so it can make the bamboo texture however the pages were held together strongly but i would advise anyone who buys it to take their time and not quickly flick through pages to avoid damage.
But overall the book is amazing.

Plastic covering was completely ripped and had dirty fingerprints all over it. Cover that book slides into damaged, ripped and scuffed all over- quality of pages inside the book itself aren’t good- not photo paper so art is just printed onto plain paper poorly. Not impressed as this is a Christmas present.

I have travelled around Japan, I have the Ghost Tsushima Collectors Edition (Brilliant By The Way) and enjoy Anime and Manga and Japanese culture in general. As I had spent too much money in a month I cancelled my pre-order for this art-book and then of course it sold out so I ordered off Amazon through the US store and it arrived relatively quickly. Sucker Punch really have gone above and beyond in every design aspect of this title from everything in the collectors edition to this beautiful book.

“A beautiful realised tome inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics and featuring art from the delicately crafted computer game. it vividly showcases every detail of the vast and exotic locale. Features elegant illustrations of dynamic characters, spirited landscapes, and diagrams of samurai sword-fighting techniques. Includes insightful commentary from the games creators. Explore a unique and intimate look at the Tsushima Islands-all collected into a gorgeous, ornately designed art book.” Comes in a thick sleeve adorned with the Ghosh Of Tsushima insignia, Highly recommended.

Awesome art book. Nice panoramic ones. The book is solid quality people here complaining about the binding, if taken care of you’ll have no problems. Also yeah its not on glossy paper I like the matte finish compared to glossy suits the book well, yes the quality of some of the darker art gets affected because of this but not a huge problem tbh still looks good.
