This is a disappointingly slender book, but appears to be full of useful facts. I hope my granddaughter finds some good in it.

Our great grand-daughter has just begun ballet lessons – she’s 8. It seemed the perfect book for her to refer to and enjoy. Not too complicated.

bought for my young granddaughter who is only 4yrs, but loves ballet, and has started ballet classes. Her Mum said she started the positions right away, and her Mum, said the book was a lovely book to own, and full of inspiration for a young dancer starting out. I did ballet at a young age, and I started my daughter at a young age, and now her daughter has started, its good to start ballet early as possible, at it strengthens the leg muscles, and gives children a sense of rthymn, listening to music..piano preferred!
I bought it as a “going to a new school for the first time” present.

A really great ballet book for all ages for both boys and girls who have a love for ballet. This book is ideal especially for those who are studying RAD. I highly reccomend this for all ballet dancers.

This book has around 6 pages of good information and even that can be found on the internet with ease. Also, there should be pronunciation tips for the ballet terminology. The book is not good for adult beginners, but is not written like it is for children either. There are also several random pages on folk dancing and mime etc…. In a book which is already very short and has little actual ballet information!!
