The title indicates that it recommends the best records from the Beatles vinyl releases. It just list their releases. Not complete and not enough detail. No European or USA releases. I suppose you get what you pay for. With so many comprehensive books on Beatles vinyl, this one is very poor. Not recommended

What a pity the author makes little mention of European releases and misses out anything about the Rock ‘n’ Roll double LP.

The book is factually correct but only scratches the surface of the Beatles’ vinyl catalogue. It provides the basics and is best suited to someone who knows nothing (or very little) about the Beatles’ output up to 1970. A more in-depth edition, that details the different variations of each album (of which there are many), would be welcome. If the author isn’t interested, I’ll do it!

Beautifully presented book documenting all The Beatles records on Vinyl. Well researched and written in an entertaining manner. Makes a lovely gift for a Beatles fan or someone who has just come across The Beatles.

Good value for money

Its certainly not complete I was hoping it would cover all the overseas releases on LP. Only goes up till about 77. Does not include budget ones only the main Parlophone. This is not a vinyl release but a book which is obvious as LPs are square and singles are too, this is oblong.
