A great little book that has some value for any owner of a B2B service based business. Mark clearly has a lot of experience of getting and retaining clients for this type of business and creating a decent income. For new SEO business owners or anyone struggling, this has some good shortcuts and verified a lot of what I already learned over a long time.

There are not many books that you pick up again and again. Mark’s no nonsense and sincere style is infectious. Nuggets on of info here and there to help the reader dodge the minefields of SEO. In fact I know this primer is valuable to me that I use it as my sole SEO reference.

Excellent book, well-written and with lots of genuine insights and takeaways. There’s lots of books in SEO, but this is the only one on the business side of SEO.
If you’re looking to get new clients and grow your SEO business, this is a great book to read.

Filling a void with great common sense advice!
A great new book from Mark Preston a straight talking SEO consultant and expert with over 15 years SEO and digital marketing experience, and this is visible in the book.
For those that know SEO or just getting started, this covers the business side of things rather than how to do SEO. You have the skills but how do you get and keep the business. Mark has the answers

With 73 pages of content this book is both short and concise. It took me only a couple hours to read it cover to cover. The reason that its so small is Mark has not wasted an entire word throughout. Every sentence in this book is pure gold with so much practical advice. Highly recommend this book to anyone running a web based business, not only in SEO and Digital Marketing.

I really enjoyed this book – it’s got a lot of great content, tips and practical advice. I’d even say it would be useful to most business people, even if you don’t work in SEO.

This book has some great advice on selling and pricing SEO or any other services to clients. The book is short and concise enough to be read in a day and I’m glad the author didn’t fill it up with waffle.

Good book on the top level things to consider and pitfalls to avoid within the SEO industry. Some good advice, 90% of this I’ve experience myself working through the ranks of agency life and moving into self employment, so I can vouch that this is good solid info.
