My daughter loved it. Good stocking filler

Don’t expect any of these jokes to win joke of the year at the Edinburgh Fringe ! However, it’s great for kids and the illustrations are good. My fave joke in the book is ‘What do you get when you cross a snowman with a baker?’
Frosty the Dough-Man ????
by Dilly Pickford
I bought this for my sons age 7 and 9, and they have been giggling non stop to such classics as ‘Where do snowman do their christmas shopping? on the winternet…..’. Lovely to see a book provide so much well needed cheer.

Cracking wee book and a must have stocking filler
by Bex
I read this book to a relatively easily pleased 7 year old, and honestly neither of us even came close to a laugh. Admittedly, it’s probably not intended to be read in one sitting – the jokes are incredibly similar across sections and pretty simple – but regardless, we both expected at least a few giggles.
The book consists of one liners or knock knock jokes, some of which have punchlines far more adult than a young reader would be able to relate to. In fact, I had to explain so many of them (and rightly so, because some of them genuinely were colloquialisms) that, as anyone telling a joke will know, they suddenly aren’t funny anymore.
If you have to explain it, then it isn’t funny. Not for us.
