I wanted to research islam, but the problem was I didn’t know who to trust or which sites, or videos, or authors to believe. I grew up Christian and left the religion as a teen because it just didn’t make sense and didn’t answer all my questions. So I guess I had some lingering prejudice towards religions anyway, but it didn’t help that the media had painted such an awful, scary picture of Islam whilst I was growing up.
I bought this because I just wanted the truth, I told myself that if I couldn’t trust people, then I could at least trust the Quran to not hide anything. If I’m being honest, I had originally intended to use this as evidence (just to myself) to justify that Islam was indeed bad, and the people following it are all just blindly following it for the sake of it. I guess I was kind of hoping for confirmation of my own beliefs.
Well… how naive and wrong I was! What actually ended up happening was I converted to Islam and Im so happy and grateful, I owe it to God (who I was questioning even existed before this) but I also owe it to this book. It helped me understand Islam and it didn’t hide anything and I can see great care and time and effort was taken into putting it together for all of our benefit. It truly is crystal clear.

Even though I was born muslim I never exposed my self to the deeper meaning of the Quran up until recently (I read in Arabic and never gave it much thought.) I purchased this in hopes to understand the Quran better, having purchased other translations, I found it hard to understand (the words were too difficult to comprehend.) This is absolutely amazing for a solid translation of the Quran, that is easy to to understand (doesn’t boggle your mind.) The explanations of each surah, the introduction to the Quran and the brief destruction of each ayah is extremely helpful. I never had seen this amount of thought in any translation I read before.
