Anne Of Green Gables:
Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert wanted a boy to help with the farm work but of all the things Anne can imagine, leaving Green Gables isn’t one of them.
Anne Of Avonlea:
Five years ago, Anne arrived at Avonlea a skinny orphan without a friend in the world; now it would be impossible to imagine Green Gables without her.
Anne Of The Island:
At eighteen years old Anne is leaving Green Gables for university – her life’s dream. But her feelings are bittersweet: although excited to see the world, she is heartbroken to leave her home and everyone she loves.
Anne Of Windy Poplars:
Anne Shirley has left Redmond College behind to begin a new job and a new chapter of her life away from Green Gables. Now she faces a new challenge: the Pringles.
Anne House Of Dreams:
Unfortunately the town’s most powerful family have already taken a disliking to her and Anne’s charm appears to have met its match.
Anne Of Ingleside:
Anne, now Mrs Doctor Blythe, is still sometimes as impetuous as when she was the girl from Green Gables. But with six lively children and hard-worked Gilbert to look after – not to mention Gilbert’s disapproving aunt, Anne has to be practical too.
Anne Of Rainbow Valley:
There was a little unfailing spring, always icy cold and crystal pure, in a certain birch-screened hollow of Rainbow Valley in the lower corner near the marsh.
Anne Of Rilla Of Ingleside:
Anne’s daughter Rilla is just fifteen when her childhood ends. With the outbreak of WWI there’s no time for mooning over handsome Kenneth Ford.

Slight damage to the top and bottom of every books spine but other than that I have no complaints.

The pages of the books are pristine and readable. However, I was disappointed to see the wear and tear of the spines of the books, when the image and description gives no indication of them being anything other than new.

All the reviews said they got different covers for their books. I was kind of hoping for that since I wasn’t really a fan of this design but it’s grown on me. Now- I’ve only read the first book but buying this after watching ‘Anne with and E’? It’s so similar to the show but feels slightly different too. I love Anne and the show really captured her well I think but the books just feel a little fresher. In the show Anne bordered on annoying but in the book she’s always just a child full of wonder who doesn’t quite understand the way of the world. I can’t wait to see past where the show ended, to watch Anne grow up and finish school. See who she becomes. I might return after I finish the series to update my review but if I don’t you can assume I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Watched Anne with an E Show and loved it but only 3 seasons. Interested in reading the books and see how her story ends. Not started them yet. Good price for complete set. Delivered as and when stated and boxed up safely. I would recommend this product and Seller. Thank You.

I was sent a copy of this book for review.
Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert need help at Green Gables and take on an orphan boy. When quiet-mannered Matthew goes to collect him, he is met with a red-headed, skinny girl called Anne Shirley who has an unstoppable lust for life and an unending ability to chatter. Anne easily wins over Matthew and he manages to convince Marilla to keep her. This precocious girl quickly worms her way into both of their hearts with her wild imagination.
Anne settles into her new life, finds friends, and starts school but soon gets herself into a spot of trouble with the neighbours. Though Marilla is shocked by her behaviour at times, both she and Matthew soon realise that their lives have changed for the better with Anne in their home. Anne has her trials and triumphs to contend with. She detests her red hair and the names she gets called, particularly ‘carrots’ by Gilbert Blythe. This starts off a long-standing feud she harbours against him. She adores her best friend Diana, puff-sleeved dresses, living at Green Gables with the adventures and loving home it provides with Matthew and Marilla. Anne loves her school work and she is determined to become the top of the class especially when her main competition turns out to be Gilbert.
???????????????????? I loved this story though it took me a few chapters to get used to Anne’s incessant chatter I soon realised that was just her way and it endeared me to her thereafter. Anne’s journey to fit in was a thrilling, funny, emotional and never-ending escapade of discovery, silliness and coming-of-age milestones. I loved the well-developed, interesting characters and how the lessons that Anne learned gave both her and Matthew/Marilla new understandings of life and love. I was new to the Audrey audiobook app and I loved it. It provides additional chapter notes, background historical detail and cultural titbits. This provided an intriguing look into Anne’s world and gave a deeper meaning to the text and plots of the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this new listening experience and will use Audrey again.
