Got this from thelocal library but found it so invaluable bought it from Amazon.
Great book, easy to follow and will get the novice designing, cutting and creating copper foil stained glass items within hours.
Essential for beginers to refer too as often as needed.

I am really pleased with this product. It has some useful information and stunning designs. Anyone starting a course on stained glass will find this useful. Clear information and instructions on making tiffany lampshades and stained glass windows and decorations.
The book illustrates all the tools and equipment that you will need to complete a project and also helpful information on starting your own business.
    Beautifully illustrated-a good buy!

This is a very lovely and informative book. I bought it before signing ups to some classes and it gave excellent advice on the equipment needed, although all of it is not essential to begin with. The patterns to try look excellent. I have attempted to make the mirror with, should I say, beginners sucess. The instructions were not as explicit as I would have liked, but having the classes I was able to identify where I went wrong so it was a learning piece – not perfect! Do buy this book for inspiration but not as a repacement for classes, I am not sure that any book can replace the tips and hints you get from other pupils and of course an excellent teacher.

This is a great book if you are interested in taking up the art of stained glass making. It explains the different techniques very clearly and precisely with illustrations and what tools you will need. Then you are given many ideas as to what to make and how to go about it with full instructions and pictures of the items made and finished. There is reference to the history of stained glass art as well which I find very relevant. I found myself becoming inspired whilst looking through the pages at the beautiful works of art in glass and couldn’t wait to start making my own stained glass art.

Brilliant book for beginner & professional, lots of very helpful info & pics. (I think I would have liked to see a little more on Kiln work for Painted Stained Glass). Apart from that can’t fault it. If you are interested in working with Stained Glass, then you can’t go wrong with this book!
