My daughters age 9 and 11 are obsessed with Lottie brooks. I Love the fact that they both enjoy reading when they have a Lottie brooks book on the go. They have literally been counting down the days to this getting released and they both agreed it’s the best one yet

My 11 year old absolutely loves Lottie Brooks and has each one read in a couple of hours. She loved this as well but felt it wasn’t quite as good as the previous ones as more pages were taken up with drawings and it was shorter in total. A thing to note as well is that it does give away that the Elf on the Shelf is not real so that’s something to keep in mind for younger readers. I’m not sure why authors have to bring that into books that are aimed at children who might still believe.

My g/daughter, aged 10, couldn’t wait to get this (latest) book from an author she really likes. It came the next day – brilliant! It makes my heart glad to see her snuggled in a chair enjoying a book! That enjoyment will never leave her through life.

This book arrived just after my daughter got home from school, she started reading straight away (only pausing for dinner!) and had finished it by bedtime. She is a huge fan of the Lottie Brooks books, and so am I (we’ve all been reading them too).
Excellent – now we’re really hoping Katie Kirby will be writing more very soon!

My daughter loved this book series and she’s a very fussy reader!! She has no complaints at all about the books and they are 10/10! Would recommend to children and adults everywhere! Katie kirby is hilarious, and the drawing style is simple, yet funny and is very enjoyable to read!
