Facinating account of the royal jewels mainly from Charles II when they were made new again. There are far more items in the collection than are on show at the Tower of London. Good explanations of how the jewels have evolved and where .major jewels are placed in the regalia

Good old Amazon turned up trumps and produed the book in three days .
It is certainly a book for collectors of Royal history appreciation of all things beautiful.
The book is well writtten with carefully researched information and fabulous pictures of the jewels in the current and past regalia of this country. Having seen the real thing many years ago as a youngster Am now a pensioner, the photographs have brought back memories in a permanent record to add to my collection
