The Cursed

Betrayal.

He was the deception waiting in the night; the truth I never saw coming. After a lifetime of manipulation, I finally learned the truth. I was his puppet — even if I never saw my strings.

Even knowing how deep his betrayal runs, I can’t shake the undeniable connection between Gray and I — the way a single glance from him sets my soul on fire. We are not the same. We’re enemies, poised to battle for the future of the very thing I’d wanted to destroy.

With the Covenant gone, the revenge I thought I wanted is no longer my priority. The witches that remain played no role in my aunt’s death, and the only person standing in the way of righting those wrongs is the very man determined to keep me in his bed.

But the remaining members of the Coven will never forgive me for the role I played in their demise and subjugation, and the worst part of all is that I can’t even blame them for it. I’d been naive, believing my own delusions of grandeur when destiny clearly had other plans for me. Plans that had been set in motion centuries before my birth.

But even that had been a lie, and now it is my duty to do everything in my power to undo it.

To protect my Coven from my husband’s hatred — no matter what the cost.

The continuation of Willow and Gray’s story was really good and I liked how the other characters were more involved in this book. I was pleased with the way things worked out.

I really can’t wait to read more about Beelzebub and Margot and see where their journey takes them.

Wow what a brilliant conclusion to the duology.

I loved the coven, but this book completely exceeded all my expectations. All the things I wanted in book one I got in this book and so much more. From the pacing of the plot, to the continuity of the world building and the character development and the phenomenal spice that this book delivered.

I love Willow so much as a fmc and this book just added so much more to her character. Her vulnerability and her belief that she was always meant to be alone and all the doubts she’s had throughout her life, to see how she slowly becomes the witch she was always meant to be and the raw belief and love that Gray has for her is beautiful.

Now Gray ???? I wanted him to be a lot more villainous in book one, Gray in cursed delivered on every aspect for me. He became so much more the villain in his unapologetic possessiveness of willow. Their relationship from the palpable chemistry to the emotional intensity that built as the story unfolded gave everything that I loved as a reader.

I highly recommend the cursed to anyone who loves dark paranormal romance, with a possessive mmc, enemies to lovers and some intense spice.

The Cursed picks up right where The Coven left off. It’s non-stop, twists and turns, and keeps you guessing as to what is going to happen next.

I couldn’t put this book down. The storyline really pulls you in, and you can’t help but root for Willow and Grey.

As for the spice, well, it was….. super spicy in just the right way ????????????????

Overall, it was a great read that I would highly recommend.

    It is bloody brilliant.

We find out more background information about the magic the witches have from the deal with Lucifer, and I did not see it coming. It just adds another layer to this fantastic witchy world.
We also see Willow struggle with her feelings, and it is good to see how she copes with all of it.

The sex scenes are perfect. I loved Greys POV for a few of these smut happy times. They were hotness, and I was there ???? .

This book has everything, any morally grey characters, witches, and fantastic well written story and smut. What more could you want

I loved the Coven, but this one was everything.

I was constantly on edge the entire time through this book, I had no idea where it was going or what was going to happen next.

    I highly recommend this Duet!

Loved how strong a character Willow was and how possessive grey was. This was really well written I was able to totally emerse myself in the story. Loved how Willow could use nature in both nurture and battle. Looking forward to reading the next books.

I loved this duet! I bought the first book not expecting it to be so good. And now I was craving the second book
I loved willow and Grays story. The twists and plot line are fabulous. Didn’t see a lot of it coming. Will love these books forever. And I hope that we see some of the side characters getting their own wee story. Harper woods has done a fantastic job with this story. The world building and you really get to see a different side to willow and gray that you didn’t get in the first book. They really did grow together like willow did with all her magics. Lovely to read and experience!
