Omfg!
I couldn’t wait to read Luca’s story and o was not disappointed!
At times I could if killed him for the way he was with Peyton but he definitely made up for it!
Now I seriously need Leon’s story!
He’s my favourite of the Dunn twins ????
I can not wait to see what he has in store for us!

Luca is definitely not the same person we met in the Rosewood series, there’s a darkness eating at his soul and he has done things to Peyton that are beyond redemption if it occurred IRL. Even after discovering what Peyton was telling the truth, he was in denial.
Peyton stood strong against him, and went against her heart and feelings. With all the world crashing down on her, it was hard to trust where Luca was coming from.
With the struggles and emotional healing they do, on the side we are given a smidgen of what’s happening with Leon. This I can already tell is going to surpass Kane and Luca, because they always say be wading if the quiet ones ????

I enjoyed this second book in the Luca and Payton duet from this entertaining Maddison Kings University series.
It has left me with a number of unanswered questions, which I am hoping will be addressed in Leon’s story.
Plenty of interesting characters, and a great storyline. Well worth reading.

I loved Peyton and Luca together and i knew that once Luca fought his hard headedness he would see that Peyton was always there for him and his one true love. I love how we got to see a different side to Leon in this book too as he always came across as the sweet twin but he has a hidden darkness within him. Great storyline cant wait for Leon’s book.

Plenty of suspense and angst, smokin attraction, friendships forming and repairing….this has it all!!

Luca comes face-to-face with the truth that Peyton told him nearly 6yrs ago before her Mum packed up their lives and left town.
He’s determined to make it up to her. He should never have doubted her. He just didn’t want it to be true. Facing up to everything he’s put Peyton through, realising what her life had to have been like over these years apart and what she’s going through. She’s not changed, except for becoming more beautiful, determined, caring and he’s still in love with her.
Peyton is trying to protect and put what’s remaining of her family together and first, but Luca is distracting her.
She’s thankful that he was there for her when she needed him. But she needs to protect her heart, she can’t let him shatter it again. So she’s thinking with her head. Sending him away is the best solution and telling him that it’s been a mistake doing what theyve been doing.
Even though she hates him, she still loves him.
He’s changed over the years, he’s mean, cruel with a dark side. Wondering if the boy she once knew and loved will ever come back to her.
Luca thinks that Peyton is warming up to him again. But she shuts him down. So he does what she asks and leaves her be, for now.
He never thought that he’d ever set eyes on her ever again. But here she is and he’s now wanting to destroy the person responsible for all the heartache that they’ve caused them.
He gets help from his twin, Leon, and a few others.
While he trys to win Peyton over again.
Will they end up on the same page and face the truth together?
Will she find out who owns the bar she works at?
Will they fight tooth and nail till the end?
This was duet was a rollercoaster of heartache and secrets coming to light.
Such a great read.
