Having been to the DeVOL showroom at Coates Mill (which is a pleasure in itself just going there) and having saved up and purchased a table, chairs, pantry and butchers block this book feels like a real treasure.
The quality of the book and paper is a treat to read and full of all their kitchen range. It is a big book and worth every penny and so full of inspiration. It describes how and why the company was set up and how the company think and work. Wonderful book highly recommend this book who have an interest in developing a kitchen that has feeling and a place you want to be in. Just love this book and can not recommend it highly enough.

After watching the series “For the love of kitchens” on the Magnolia network I ordered this book. Not only does the book have such beautifully photographed images of the deVOL kitchens, it has lots of interesting background information about Paul and Helen of the deVOL team and an insight into how the company works and how every detail is so well thought through in regard to their products. So many ideas and inspiration in this book make it a must have!. We can all dream about having a deVOL kitchen one day ????????????.

deVOL designs and crafts beautiful kitchens inspired by traditional cabinetry and interiors and in this book they share some of their favourite projects and the processes for making some of their hardware, lighting and other accessories. The majority of the book offers full colour editorial quality photographs of their client’s kitchens and the commentary is thoughtful, informative, useful and inspiring. They also offer design tips for floor and wall surfaces, lighting, ceramics, paintings, antiques and more. This book is an excellent resource for those seeking inspiration for welcoming, yet functional, traditional kitchens.
