I enjoyed this story. The emotional turmoil of the main characters was well-described. Lady Natalia and Duke Henry had difficulty with their families. Natalia was being forced into a courtship with a horrible man, Lord Bradford. Henry had awful memories of his cruel father and this was affecting his whole relationship with society as a whole. At a family meal, Henry stopped Lord Bradford’s plans to court Natalia. He offered to court her himself. Together they entered into a fake courtship but their action angered Lord Bradford and he was intent on revenge. Will he manage to prevent a marriage between Henry and Natalia or will they be able to have to find their own happiness? Read on and enjoy.

another good book by Hanna, about 2 people who for different reasons do not want to get married and also highlighting the lives of those born into privilege in the UK in the 19th century
