Great recipes for my adult boyfriend that barely cooks. Very simple and easy to follow. US measurements (with conversions in the back)

A nice little book for anyone trying to start off in home cooking with easy recipes.
I think the title (and especially the cover) are a bit misleading. There isn’t anything particularly “manly” about the recipes – they are just heavily based on being simple – both in terms of number of ingredients and preparation.
Pros:
– Very concise and straightforward recipes that can be of interest for both – complete beginners and people who already cook;
– Good book layout where recipes are divided into breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cons:
– The book is missing meal photos which in my opinion are essential in any cookbook;
– The marketing is a bit misplaced, as it’s clearly only targeting male population with no cooking experience. But I believe the recipes are interesting enough for anyone looking for a quick meal idea (I personally have been cooking for years and still find it useful)
Overall – don’t expect high quality/presentation meals to cook on a dinner date from recipes in this book – its purpose is to give you a quick idea for breakfast, lunch or dinner for when you’re short on time or just can’t be bothered spending time on some more elaborate recipes.
