I bought this book for my other half so he could also spend some time in the kitchen 😉 The recepies are pretty straightforward for me but he likes to see the photos to know what to expect. This book doesn’t have them which might be slightly disappointing.

I like recipes that are in book and it is for a Christmas pressie for son in law who has taken up Chinese cooking. He will be able to follow recipes and I look forward to taste what he makes.

Good book

The recipes are very basic, suitable for beginners. It gives you cooking times and possible alternative for the ingredients, but on the other hand there are no pictures of the food. A bit disappointing if you are looking for some more intersting recipes.

Have not completely read this book as it will take a while to read all the recipes. The beginning of the book about buying and seasoning a wok and cooking tips is excellent and having just purchased a carbon steel wok must reserve any further judgement until I have followed the seasoning instructions tried my first effort.
