A well written and easy to follow guide that I found extremely helpful. This book is an excellent way to navigate divorce whilst making sure things do not turn nasty. The advice and information contained in it makes me feel like I’m saving a fortune in solicitors fees as it has been answering every question that seems to come to me.
If you are in the process of separating or getting divorced, or if you are considering it, I would highly recommend reading this book.

A very practical insight into the world of divorce at every stage. Makes the whole process seem a lot less daunting. Very useful indeed.

General advice is useful. But the law on divorce has changed since this was written, so the guidance about the process is completely out of date. Can’t even return it as I bought the Kindle version.

This book was an excellent aid to helping me understand the complex and conflicting and difficult process of divorce and separation. When it arrived, I devoured it in one sitting, as it answered all the questions I had, particularly those that pertained to the welfare of my daughter. Lawyers are expensive, and I have often held back asking all the questions I want to know, to economise and only asked the most important ones. Because this process of divorce and separation is also so emotional, it’s also hard to hold onto very important information when big emotions take over, so I’m also delighted to have this as an easy guide to refer back to. I found the book validating, reassuring, and extremely simple to read, without having to decipher lawyer speak. I’m so grateful for this book and having found it at a time when I needed it most.
