I really like this book. I’ve never followed a diet before. But now I’m middle aged and 2 stone (15kg) overweight. I like it because I can still eat cheese and salami/chorizo so I don’t feel I’m being deprived of things I like. The recipes require quite a lot of planning/preparation. I’m spending several hours a week chopping veg etc. Although this would be easier with a food processor. I’ve now got about 20 favourite recipes so I make extra portions and put it in tubs in the fridge. The information about the Keto process is useful. I haven’t used the set meal plans. I haven’t been particularly careful with weighing ingredients or counting calories, although these are listed on each recipe, along with the carbohydrates. I’ve lost 6lb (3kg) in 3 weeks and I’m not missing carbs at all. I like it but if you have limited time for preparation it probably won’t suit you. It’s also increased my shopping bill by about £8 a week, although if you buy frozen veg this would work out cheaper.

Downside is the products you use in the recipes, not easily available if you outside the main cities in the uk
