The title is a bit pretentious compared to the contents, in my personal opinion.
I suppose “Funniest” according to the author’s (compiler’s) sense of humour which undoubtedly differs from his readers’.
The book is passable, not boring and contained only a few quotes new to me, so the three stars is a reflexion of a personal opinion and does not demean a book well made.

Good read and fun

I enjoy good cask “real ale”, and this book has provided amusing gentle entertainment that can be accessed sporadically while I’m having a beer. It often made me laugh aloud prompting me to have to quote a passage to curious onlookers.

I cannot understand any of the negative reviews of this book. I can only presume that some readers just don’t have a funnybone. I highly recommend this to everyone who likes a good giggle!
