I read this many times to my older grandson and it is very rythmic, ideal at bedtime to lull a tired little one. Although it’s about a ghost train the drawings are funny and loved by children.
My younger grandson (cousin to the first) also loves this, it’s easy to sing the chorus to the tune of “The Runaway Train” – sorry if you’re not old enough to remember it, you may be able to Google it :-).
In summary, don’t hesitate, it isn’t scary – in fact, if any child is currently frightened of the dark, this could be an ideal book, the ghosts are really scared of humans!

Bought this for my little boy as he loves the original funnybones book (I loved it when I was tougher too). Needless to say he loves this one too so looks like I’ll have to buy the whole collection. Arrived on time and in perfect condition (not bent at all)

Bought some of these books for my godsons 4th birthday as he is obsessed with ghosts and skeletons. He absolutely loves them, although my friend is fed up of saying “dark, dark” every single bedtime!!
