I bought this book as I’m a first year TNA. Had been useful to read aspects of the book prior to that module to give me a general understanding. Unfortunately Amazon delivered me a bent book with creases

This is a brill book. I’ve tried a few diffrent ones over last few months. But print was too small or I did not understand what I was reading.. this book has fairly large print compared to the others. Also the language used is very straight forward easy to understand. I struggle understanding things very quickly. This book does not miss anything out. It’s very good on the academic skills. It has lots of charts and diagrams to compliment the text very useful. I highly recommend this book to any new students. Or people with some experiences. I can just dip into sections as I need them. And understand it first time I read it. Normally I have to read a book 3 or 4 times. I’m very happy. You won’t be disappointed.

Everything you need to know that’s not full of posh medical jargon

Bought this book early before starting my Associate course in Jan 2020. The content is very easy to understand written in plain English but very informative with diagrams, case studies and assignment examples. I think this book will be one of my main reference resources.

This is an excellent revision source. This book only covers the basics but it does signpost you to other sites and sources to get more depth in specific topics. However, I would state this book is more for nursing associates. I am now currently an assistant practitioner in radiography and it didn’t have much for other specific areas in health care
