Overall pretty good. Thought the ending involving the Policeman/daughter was somewhat contrived.

I’m glad I pushed myself to finish this book. The ending was amazing. I’m defo going to read the next book!!! Highl recommended for first-time thriller readers.

This book is right up my street, I read a lot of the genre and so did see the twist coming (very the last Mrs Parrish) however, I didn’t see the extent of the twist which was very welcomed! I read this is just two sittings as not only was it exciting but the style of writing made it almost impossible to put down. First book I’ve read by the author and this book really did live up to expectations where a lot don’t. I will be reading the sequel.

I really enjoyed this, it was dark and a bit twisted, but quite humorous in places as well, I really liked Millie, and once we heard things from her POV I liked Nina as well. I still saw the twist coming, but not all the details of it, so I really enjoyed all the different directions this book took towards the end.
This wasn’t as dark as the thrillers I usually like to read, so I found it easy reading and read the entire book in one day, I will definitely be trying the next book in the series.

Loved it! First of I Loved the writing, it is light,sarcastic and ironic. It isn’t a dark book apart maybe a page here and there but it is s good thriller. While I guessed some of the twists, it does keep you hooked till the very last page.i just ordered the sequel. I think I’ve just become a fan and will be ordering more of her books!

This is such an amazing read that I devoured in a couple of sittings! It’s highly gripping and I was completely hooked from the start, I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough! The storyline is so well thought out and clever and those twists and turns kept on giving! Just when you thought it was the last one, it hit you with another one!
Everything about this book is just perfection, it also has short chapters which I love, meaning you can always read “one more chapter”. The characters were great too, I loved Millie, she is such a bad ass! I loved more characters as the book went on but won’t say too much as I want to keep my review spoiler free.
I was over the moon to discover there is a sequel which I ordered straight away but as it was going to take a couple of days to be delivered I needed a Freida fix and went straight to another of her books which was also fantastic! I have found another auto buy author who has quickly become one of my all time favourite authors! Freida’s books are so addictive, you can’t just stop at one! Highly highly recommend! A must read!

Was looking for some thrill reading and came across this book. Bought this one and the housemaid secret. Started yesterday and done reading today. It’s amazing- slightly predictable but oh boyyyy, climax is good and unexpected!!! Cannot wait to start other book today!!! ????????????????????????????????
