I brought this book after searching high and low for something to help my 3 year old transition to nursery, after an extremely rocky start with loads of tears and anxiety! And WOW!! The difference we have seen! We read the book every night. she makes us test the invisible string every morning to make sure I can feel her tugging and then off she goes to nursery! It has really really stuck with her!

Weve been struggling with attachment issues with 6 year old and this book was actually recommended by our GP. Its a lovely story and has given him a way of understanding things on his level. We often mention this now when hes having trouble and it seems to give him comfort that were still attached by our strings. Highly recommended for any kid struggling with attachment or even just starting school or staying out for the first time etc.
