After the growing interest on social media, I could not wait to get my hands on this book. As a young teenager I recall hearing story’s about the author from work colleagues about him living in a haunted house. At the time I shrugged these off as work banter or tall tailes as I had never heard the stories from the author himself. But years later hearing there was a book in production had me very interested, I purchased the book on launch day and it didn’t disappoint.
Each story has you right there with the writer on each more creepy and down right scary account of paranormal activity.
As a believer myself there is no doubt in my mind all these accounts really happened, and I must say you are one brave man! Some of the account in this book would have had me running for the hills!
Congratulations on your success with this book. It is something to be very proud of. I am of course recommending it to all my friends and family, Keeping my fingers cross for more story’s of Mrs Tompkins and others , as I feel it’s not the last we will be hearing from them anytime soon. My eyes are peeled!

I’ve been waiting for this book to be published for a little while and it certainly did not disappoint! I’m very interested about the paranormal world and so I always like to read about peoples different experiences with hauntings.

I found this book so interesting, one of the better books I’ve read on the subject and not at all over dramatised like a lot of them seem to be. It’s a very honest depiction and the author presents himself as a sceptic, that can’t explain the goings on. It’s very intriguing in the way he tries to reasonably explain away occurrences at points.. but somethings just can’t be explained. I read it in 4 hours, I couldn’t put it down. (The couch part especially had me left open mouthed, amongst other bits).

It’s left me wanting to know more of what goes on in that house in Sheffield.. and if the lady in the bay window is still an active resident! I’ll keep following the Facebook page to get all the news 🙂

Well done Will! Your Mam would be very proud????

Being from the town the haunted house is in made this find even more exciting! The book is written in a straightforward manner, and you really feel like you’re sat with the author, being told the story. Then you feel other things, like jumpy, a little bit scared, suspicious of little noises and wondering if there’s something in the loft that you should know about. ???? Scary and entertaining. A storytelling triumph.

    So where do I begin……
I received this book (bought both paperback and hardback) and let’s put it this way….. I started and finished within roughly 1 hour, I’ve read many real life spiritual books, but never one as good as this. The author is such a lovely person. And to read part of his life story is a blessing . His mummy must be so proud and informing all the Angels how good her son is. I cannot wait for part 2 to hopefully be released. My husband and I support Cavendish Cancer Charity (volunteering) and the fact all proceeds go to the charity is absolutely incredible. WELL DONE TO YOU FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCES.
Now everyone if you haven’t already…. PLEASE PURCHASE this book. Or donate to cavendish cancer charities, if you are too afraid to read ????

When I saw this on Facebook I couldn’t wait for it to be released and I wasn’t disappointed.
It arrived yesterday and I have read it all. What a fascinating easy read.
To say you aren’t an author the book was brilliant. The book just flowed and I was excited to get to the next chapter. The only thing I am gutted about is that I’ve finished it. I need there to be more lol.
Unfortunately I lost my mum to cancer in 2017 so buying this book for a good cause was a no brainer. Your mum would be so proud with the finished result. Well done!!
I would definitely recommend. If you haven’t bought it yet you need too, I don’t think I’d of stayed living there though that’s for sure haha. Maybe if you continue to get things happening there, could be a book no2 in the making (hopefully)

Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this is a great read if you are a fan of curious tales. The author freely admits he is a sceptic yet simply cannot explain the strange happenings at his home over the many years he has lived there.

I like that William makes the book a bit autobiographical too, giving a bit of insight into what he is up to in life as a way of introducing each story, and includes the experiences he has shared with family and friends.

Well worth a purchase and great to see that the proceeds are going to a deserving charity too.
