Great, easy to read and ideal for someone with little to no knowledge on politics

This book is not woth a penny. The picture shown on the website is misleading. I started return process the moment I received the book.

I bought this book to help me get a better understanding to politics, as I realized there is a lot of information that I don’t know, or don’t know well. The book is easy to read cover-to-cover, but to me this is more of a reference book, popping in and out where I need to. Its written in a way that is accessible to everyone, which is the idea of the book!

I feel as though this should be a must on anyone’s shelf if they are interested in politics, even for those who maybe understand the subject well.

This is an accessible and inspiring guide to UK politics.
After a brief introduction there are seven illuminating chapters titled ‘So, What Is Politics?’; ‘The Mother Of Parliaments’; ‘What Are Members Of Parliament(MPs) For?’; ‘Does Voting Change Anything?’; ‘Keeping It Local’; ‘It’s My Party’ & ‘Making A Difference’.
‘The Little Book of Politics’ by Steven Gauge is an excellent basic guide to UK parliamentary politics which should appeal to the general reader.

When it comes to politics, we all think we know everything. This little books proves how wrong that thought is. Really interesting and wets the appetite to delve in to the world of politics further.
