Ed Miller is a best-selling (over 300,000 copies sold) author of books on poker and gambling. This is his first book on sports betting, but maybe his favorite book to write so far.

Matthew Davidow is a sports modeler, using proprietary methods to beat major sports betting markets for over 15 years, and co-founding two leading private sports analytics firms along the way.

What people are saying about The Logic Of Sports Betting:

Some of the maths could have been simplified more to make the relevant point.

A little bit more difficult for me being based in the UK to understand the logic that goes into creating lines on the prominent US based sports Baseball/NFL as I don’t really understand/follow those sports I concentrate primarily on Football,Tennis,Cricket markets. However the level of detail/insight on the how lines are created/monitored was second to none. Also as you touched on in the book the In-play markets in Europe are a lot more mature they’ve been around for years the information on the 3rd party feed was also a real eye opener.

Have to say this was the first book I’ve put the effort into writing a review on. if you have any interest in learning about the Sports betting industry as a whole you have to read this book. I’ll be sure to look for more ass bets 🙂 *****

It is telling the author makes a living writing books on how to make money betting, how to make money playing poker, etc rather than actually making money at these activities.
