I couldn’t even hear the speaking test , is there anyway to download or listen the exercises or listening test? Thank you

It is a good book , but the quality of the print is awful: after 1 week of use, the pages started to fall apart, so that I have to stick them with sellotape to be able to use the book, but after second week the entire book has completely separated from the cover!
It is shame. Because the book itself is useful guide, and it is put together at official Cambridge University press. Really they should invest in a better quality of their products, because IELTS is not cheap and they are not poor, so surely the official Cambridge guide should not be of so low quality level print.
I am studying now for two weeks, and the main problem I discovered about my study level – is lack of attention. If one follows all exercises and check with answers at the end of the book, it becomes obvious that paying attention to questions and material is the most important skill.
I also had problem with book CD, because I do not have a DVD/ CD room on my laptop. And I asked seller 2 weeks ago how to proceed, they replied that they have no clue, because they are “ just sellers”, and CD is a part of book, which produced by Cambridge, and so they emailed to the producers…
I am still waiting for the reply…..

I’m a professional ESL teacher. I bought this book to help my students. The CD contains all the audio and video. Note that the technology it depends on is a bit dated. To make it work, you will need to install AdobeFlash 11. Since AdobeFlash has been discontinued, you will have to find the legacy program from a trustworthy archive. Conversely, you can extract the files in some other way you see fit.
Regarding the textbook, this is a very complete product. 400 pages. Full color. Nice, thick, semi-matte paper. The first 153 pages are dedicated to each aspect of the exam. The general and academic papers are covered separately. Next, there are 8 full-length practice exams. However, it does not specify whether they are for the general or academic papers. On examination of the texts, I would say that they are a mixture of the two. So, ideally, I would use these to get the students acquainted with the format and the skills they need to develop and I would supplement with the Cambridge past papers that are specific for each track, academic or general, that are widely available for purchase on Amazon. It goes without saying that the audio scripts and answers are included, which makes it ideal for self-study. Have the students self-assess each practice paper and use the contact hours to address questions they have and clarify the mistakes they have made.
My final takeaway is that this is an excellent worktext (textbook/workbook combo) to have in your arsenal to teach the IELTS class.

Must have if you’re looking to take your ielts test. Helped me get my certification to get into uk uni, it had important notion of grammar which you might have not studied already

I received the book but the DVD not included! Without having the DVD there is no way to practice listening! – i will return the book
