The intense blue on the cover announces a book full of beautiful splashes of colour, illustrating the deep ocean, the polar seas, the coral reefs and the rock pools. Sea monsters and ocean giants, whales and dolphins inhabit this wonderland. Puffins and gannets swoop across the sea. The impact of plastic in the sea brings it to a conclusion. The first paragraphs on the pages of this marine encyclopedia appeal to the younger readers, while the small text is a mine of information to delight the whole family. An ideal present for a child, but buy one for yourself too!
