This is a new author for me and I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in this series. The storyline was great.
Praise for the author who has written without the need to insert bad language and profanity in every other sentence but who gives us a lawyer who because of money problems had to return to work as a lawyer to help keep the family vineyard afloat with the support of a loving wife despite having to live away from each other a good part of the time. This coupled with the crooks and criminals who kept him on his toes, as well as the clients who were vindicated at the very last moment! kept me reading to the wee small hours
I personally have enjoyed the books and will continue to seek out other books by this author as well as finishing this series. I have bought book 3 and just about to start reading it and pre- ordered book 4

A very good thriller for any reader who follows US law and court dramas. Presumably this book is leading up to solving the murder of the son.
