I enjoyed reading about the origins of some of the most popular tattoo choices. Only downside is it was based more on smaller tattoos and not as wide a range as I was expecting. Definitely worth a read though if you’re a tattoo fan and especially if you’re undecided on your first tattoo.

Bought as an 18th birthday gift for someone who wants to be a tattoo artist. The book is really well put together and has a really nice vintage feel. Great content too.

I stupidly thought this might be jam packed full of reference images, but instead images are only offered for the occasional words listed (although they are large which is nice) and the text is set out sparsely so that not as much information is in the book as you’d expected. What content is in there is good.
Although that said, this would make a reasonable stocking stuffer gift if you’ve a friend interested in tattoos.
