Looking at most of the one star reviewers, it is clear that they haven’t read this book and are simply judging a book by it’s cover, without opening and reading a single page.
All some of the reviewers have done is label Robert Spencer various names. (Neo-Con, Islamophobe, racist (sic), and claim that his book is “full of lies”, which no doubt means they are denying their own scripture). This is usually a good sign which suggests they haven’t read the book. I am not a massive fan of Robert Spencer in my honest opinion. One dispute I have with him is he supports an Ethno-Nationalist state known as Israel, yet is always quick to slander Nationalist Party’s in Europe as “Fascist” and “Nazi”. He seems to adapt the Leftists mentality of name calling and labelling people who have Nationalist sentiments (Unless they are Jews of course). In my opinion Spencer is a bit of a hypocrite when it comes to Jewish Nationalism and European Nationalism.
However despite his views on Nationalism in Europe and his double standards when it’s Jewish Nationalism, I purchased his book and read it (Unlike most of the 1 star reviewers) and found that it is a great source of information.
Those who are spreading the word “Islamophobia” around like wildfire, please take the time to read this book. The vast majority of the sources that Spencer uses come from respected Islamic sources. The Qur’an, The Hadith (traditions of Muhammad), Ibn Ishaq who was Muhammad’s earliest biographer, the Bukhari. Even the likes of Karen Armstrong and various Pro-Muhammad biographers are mentioned.
5 star’s from me. Well documented, well researched and a book straight to the point. Which is why many Muslims and Islamic apologists happen to hate it.

A book all in the West should read in order to understand the motivations,and self justifications of, particularly, the dangerous Fundamentalist” Jihadist”element of Muslim Society.( and why the more proggressive elements are so unwilling to speak out strongly against it,or reform their religion for the 21st Century)
The book convincingly corrects the erronious assumptions that Western Leaders have peddled, concerning the essentially peaceful and tollerant nature of this belief system, and their weakness to speak out to criticise in fear of claims of Racism, Political Incorrectness, or indeed physical attack.(or worse) The time is overdue for open discussion of the problems raised in this book for all our sakes.
Since this book was published, we have had the murder of Satirical Journalists in Paris,and the rise,and successes of ISIL forces in Iraq, involving fanatical Jihadists,some of whom we are told by our Security Services will return to the West to continue Jihad,against us.Therefore it is
more critical than ever that we learn the truth about their beliefs,and how to counter them effectively, to prevent further attrocities being committed against us in the name of Islam. (I suppose we will only be considered “collateral damage “by the Politicians,who are of course very well protected,and guarded.)
What comes through from the evidence in this book is that the world, that the Jihadi Fundamentalists see as their duty as good Muslims to fight to bring about( by any means), bears an uncanny resemblance to a” New Nazi Empire”. As Churchill stated before the Second World War, we must prevent at all costs a descent into a” New Dark Age,” and I expect he would have said much the same of Islamic Fundamentalism now.
Whether or not the “Multi Cultural Society” appeals to you,it can only work if all parties are tollerent, and respectful of each others cultures etc,and engage on this basis, but the Author illustrates the inherently Racist,and Supremesist nature of Islam, which obviously causes problems in this respect..
This book is in many ways a Revelation for us all (Luckily not of the Religious type.)

THE TRUTH ABOUT MOHAMMAD
——-Another illuminating book from Robert Spencer, he who lives in hiding, in the sure knowledge his safety cannot be assured after writing books on the, ‘ Prophet ‘ [?] & Islam.
Like the Dutch film maker,Theo van Gogh & a number of other prominent Muslim apostates, Spencer could also be intimidated, disappear or worse be found with a bullet or knife wound some dark night.
I greatly admire his courage in writing on this topic & am grateful he has written in an unambiguous way. The book takes you through the life of Muhammad, on how, why & when he became the Prophet & importantly, the origins of the Muslim hatred for the Jews & how it has gained momentum right to the present day.
The book has left me in no doubt the man was an earthly being, who managed to convince the hoard’s he was receiving messages [ revelations ] from Allah. Very timely ‘revelations’ !.
I am left thinking this was someone, [ Muhammad,] who was a true ambitious bully, if he failed to sell his brand, in this case Islam, he would wage war on the stubborn , rob & rape, saying he had received another message from Allah to do so.
Why & how can anyone think this warmonger is a role model ?
Well worth a read, it didn’t quite come up to Spencer’s book on, Islam [ & the Crusades ] but the facts are all there, plus many references & the two do work in tandem.
