The Tudor Deception: The new and unmissable Sunday Times No.1 bestseller (Ben Hope, Book 28)
£4.70
An unmissable new thriller from the master of the genre
An unsolved historical mystery. A brutal bomb attack.
Only one man can track down the killers that link them both.
It’s 2005: Ben Hope, recently retired from the military, is living in Ireland and using his SAS skills to find and rescue missing children.
But when asked to take on the case of two boys who disappeared centuries ago, he walks away, little realising he’s lit a fuse that will not only destroy the life of someone he cares about, but also lead him on a journey that proves old secrets come with a very modern price.
Ben must follow the trail across Europe, unravelling the mystery and dodging bullets as only he can. As the death toll ramps up, what is the connection between a murdered history professor, an English lord and a pretender to the Tudor throne – and can Ben find out the truth before the killers make him their next victim?

Could not put this book down. Action packed escapism with exciting twists. The follow up on leads was too easy, based on coincidences and conjecture and the development of the plot, rather linear. I appreciated this though as I could follow the joining of the dots and the author didn’t descend into word salad ramblings. I feel the writing style is appropriate for the genre and I am going to read more in the series.

Another great read from Scott Mariani, Ben Hope series slightly different from normal but another book worth reading. If you haven’t read Scott Mariani do so now.

Nothing to dislike . As usual , Scott Mariani didn’t disappoint. It’s going to be a long wait for the next book.

I love the Ben Hope books. I always pre-order then don’t want to read it because I won’t want to do anything else until I’ve read it. It’s the delicious feeling you got as a child on Christmas morning.
Can’t wait for the next one Scott!

Ben is back!!….loved this story….as usual it’s a wee bit far fetched but as ever it’s a great story, weaving history into it….and who knows, perhaps it happened like Scott says.
I can’t wait for the next one!

I read a lot of books by several top authors but
once I start reading Scott Mariani everything else is shelved for another time as I find I cannot put it down. If circumstances prove I must then I am not happy. I think I have read most if not all his books and I am always looking for his next one.
By top authors I am talking Wilbur Smith, Jeffrey Archer, Gerald Seymour etc., and many good female authors.

I’ve read all of Ben Hopes books and this is my favourite of them all. It was gripping from the first page and I didn’t want to put it down. It was a definite page turner, full of typical Bens way of dealing with problems. Looking forward to the next one.
