There are tons of example questions and answers in this book, and it gave me a good picture of what good/bad responses are

I haven’t used this yet – I purchased it ahead of time as I know as soon as people start buying it, the price increases massively with amazon!
From the image I thought it would be the size of a typical book/journal but it is the size of a revision guide – so there’s a lot to read through. I flipped through it, and it seems very informative and clear, and has everything in it to prepare. Hopefully it’ll help me with my interviews. I’m not sure if you can update/edit previous reviews, but if I can then in the future I will update if it helped. The price is around £10 cheaper compared to another popular book. I purchase this one as people emphasised it had enough focus on ethics unlike other books, and I liked how a biography of the author was displayed as it helped me understand who wrote it, unlike the other popular book on amazon who came from a no-name author. Makes me feel more reassured if you will. So far so good, so I’d recommend 🙂

Really useful tips, both for MMI and panel interviews. Found it really useful for my daughter’s prep for med school entrance!

This book is extremely well structured and contains 150 examples of questions that may be asked in an interview for medical school. Each question has an example of a good and a bad response with feedback on each one. An indispensable guide for any prospective medical student.

This is an excellent comprehensive book covering so many interview questions giving insight into how to answer them with examples of a bad and a good response for every question.
The first few chapters also give invaluable general interview advice. Its also much cheaper than other books that I bought but were less helpful.

Very useful guide for students aspiring to study medicine. Has covered most of the topics in a clear easily understandable manner.

I bought this book December 2020 ahead of an interview I had for Graduate Entry Medicine. The examples of interview questions, with good and bad responses was brilliant for preparation. Around a quarter of the questions I was asked at interview were identical to ones which were presented in this book. Which meant that I felt completely prepared for how to answer them in a logical and appropriate manner.
I successfully secured a place at the university of my choice based off my interview performance. I wouldn’t say that this book was wholly responsible for me gaining the place, but I found that it helped polish off the rough edges, and stopped me from making some basic errors. I am pretty sure that without it, I may have slipped into the ‘bad’ responses included.
For anyone who was to purchase, pay particular attention to the ethical questions, I found these to be very good.
I would recommend. As with any book, it cannot guarantee you a place. But I can quite confidently say that this book was of significant benefit to me when it came to interview time.
