Good addition to the studio series. There are a great number of films pre 1946 that’s treated with just the title and cast and a short plot-description, but the author simply didn’t have the space available to write about them as Universal has produced 3000 + films. Add to that the sorry fact that Universal destroyed most of their silent output together with still photos and details about production. So it’s not a complete history, but maybe as complete as it will ever get.
