Is SEO worth doing? This question is what many business owners have asked themselves over the years. We all use the internet to help us make decisions; we all turn to search engines to better educate ourselves and explore brands, businesses, products, and services. Sadly, this has left search engine optimisation in a place that seems at odds with life.
And yet, despite the overwhelming evidence surrounding us, businesses still see search engine optimisation as a risk. An investment that might not pay off.

In this groundbreaking book, SEO specialist Andrew Holland turns the way we think about SEO on its head. Through 100 illustrated stories and essays, you will swallow the red pill and journey down the rabbit hole into SEO wonderland. Learning how to see and better explain the value of SEO to anyone in the process.

The Value of SEO is the book you’ll want to send to your prospects. It provides part education, part entertainment. The book doesn’t tell you how to do SEO but reminds you of why SEO is a must-do for any business that wants to matter to the people they seek to serve.

This book is a collated look into the mind of Andrew Holland and his SEO wizardry. Whether your knowledge is non-existent or you’re the best SEO in the world, you can learn a lot from this. I work with Andy, we’ve got copies here in the office, and I still paid for a copy on Kindle so I could highlight, make notes, and keep it. This isn’t your usual SEO guff book, it’s packed with actionable insights to improve your campaigns. Buy it!

I’ve been following Andrew on LinkedIn for ages. When I saw this book was out it was a no brainer to order.
The book is full of ways to think about SEO, to visualise, to justify it and to explain it.
Super valuable whether you’re client or agency side, junior or leader.

As a person who knows the basics In SEO and knows that it takes more than just a couple of blog posts to be visible on Google, this book is very valuable.

From the writers experience it takes you deeper in to understanding SEO, Content and search intent. This book can help you go from SEO manager to SEO expert.

    Great work Andrew Holland

Does anyone remember the WWJD (what would Jesus do) wrist bands that made their rounds in the late 90s early 00s among Evangelical Christians? Designed to make you think about a situation or question through different eyes…

Well I think I have found the SEO version in Andrew Holland’s book – The Value Of SEO….

Only had a copy for little over a week and found myself three times today alone digging into it and asking – “how would Andrew answer this question…..”

Why is this valuable? Well Andrew has a way of compartmentalising my 3 hour waffling about SEO topics into just a few, legible and more tangible sentences…

Honest grab a copy today you will not be disappointed!

This book is a must read for any marketing professional looking to understand SEO better, or for those struggling to bridge the gap between the decision maker. This book will help you see things more clearly.

The graphics are simple and really help explain various scenarios within the philosophy of SEO.

As an SEO professional myself for over a decade I was nodding along with strong approval throughout and also learned a few really cool ways to explain certain scenarios.

I Highly recommend, it’s probably the first SEO orientated book which simplifies this often over complicated subject for a wider audience.

If everyone who works on a website or creates any form of content, read this book first, the web and the google search results would be a much better place.

Genuinely fascinating SEO review. I read it. Our founder read it. And we’ve made our entire content and SEO team read it.

    Two major takeaways from me:

    1. Making content that resonates with your audience and provides them real value is more powerful than any SEO “trick”
    2. If you do point one well enough, you can actually make yourself a sought after source of information for your audience — and this should be considered SEO too.

I’d never really considered point two, and it definitely changed my perspective.

I can’t recommend the book enough if you want to learn more about how to actually make SEO work. And my two comments don’t do the book justice in terms of the breadth of information in here.
