I was fortunate enough to be an advanced reader of the original work ‘Put A Wet Paper Towel on It’. So when I heard there was a sequel, I bought it instantly.
Like the original, this has the perfect mix of nostalgia and humour and discusses how the education system has changed, both in recent times and very recent times, through COVID-19.
It is an effortless read and highly recommended to anyone in education who fondly remembers their school days or loves a ‘confessions’ book.

Highly entertaining

I have only just started reading this book but it’s a real tonic to read something funny.
I heard achat with the authors on the radio and decided it was a ‘must buy’ book. Very good value.

I always find that when I am promised funny books, they never live up to their promise. It’s still an interesting read though

How very appropriate that it was my friends bday and a teacher. She loves their podcast so thought the new book was appropriate.
Arrived in excellent condition in Amazons usual cardboard boxes.
All good.

I did enjoy this book, but it is very similar to the first book and the podcast. There were funny situations that other school staff had shared which are shocking and hilarious. Definitely worth a half term read to have a laugh and know you’re not the only one who’s embarrassed themselves working in a school before!
