As a music teacher, I bought this in order to give some variety to students who have been working through classical grades. I haven’t had any takers for the book yet, but I don’t mind as I love the book for myself! The arrangements are great and the backing tracks make you feel like you are playing in a professional band. I would say that they are actually harder than classical grade 4 standard. The backing tracks show no mercy and romp along at the correct tempo – often seeming really fast. This is quite a challenge for pianists who are not used to playing at someone else’s speed or listening and playing in an ensemble.
