After I read Push in 2021, I knew I absolutely needed Tate to have his own story and Nyla did not disappoint ???? this book made me smile, laugh out loud, it was emotional, twisty. My jaw was on the floor!! I loved it ????

Now, don’t come at me, but I haven’t read Push ???? I know I know it’s on the never ending list but I promise it’s been pushed up to the top now because 1. More Tate and 2. I need Jess, Ben and Ryan’s story!
Anywayyyy back to Trouble, this story had me in a chokehold from the first page, I fell in love with these characters, and okay at times I wanted to bang their heads together, but eugh their story was just perfection!
Those twists though ???????????? I feel like I’ve been chucked around a roller-coaster and I still don’t know which way is up!
Nyla, you have a way of throwing me off kilter, I dive into your books thinking I have the characters sussed from the first page and it’s just eugh I’m rambling I’m sorry I just love them ????

Tate is funny, sarcastic, confident, arrogant but lovable, kind and has a heart of gold. He loves big and he laughs loud but his brash personality hides his need to be loved.
Lance is Tate’s opposite and is everything Tate ever needed or wanted. Lance is frustrating in his guise of martyr but his heart is in the right place and he also loves big and with his whole self.
Once he finally lets the truth out, which was a little frustrating through the book when he’d allude to “the truth about running out on Tate in college” but not actually speak the words, the story evolves beautifully, if not a little painfully.
It’s a fantastic story with twists that I didn’t see coming (the best kind!) and the obligatory HEA. If anyone deserves a happy ending it is most definitely Tate Eckhart! I love him.
Also, Tate is hot, and so are his steamy scenes. I don’t think we could ever have TOO many of them ????.
Love Nyla’s books, love the forbidden and taboo topics she writes. Hardcore romance, yes please ????!

Sunshine and Trouble,opposite sides of the coin,Tate and Lance were the epitome of how two people who thought they knew what was right for them,came together and made the life they were destined to have together,despite the trials and tribulations along the way. Tate has always known how he wanted to live his life,he was happy with the “found family” he had around him,but deep down something was missing. Lance always knew he needed his best friend in his life,but one night changed his path completely and lived a world of indifference and peace,or so he thought,until he crashed back into Tate’s life and everything spun out of control and the feelings he’d buried deep came roaring back to the surface
Tate and Lance’s journey has so much going on,denial,want,questions,truths,lies,self discoveries and so much heat between the two of them,it was hard not to get sucked right into the middle with them. Nyla does what she does best…she takes us on the biggest and best rollercoaster of emotions…which never ends,she puts so much of her heart and soul into every word,every sentence and every page.The twists and turns within the book kept me thinking “what????” which I love,and once I’d finished,I wanted to go right back to the beginning and start again,because I cannot describe how stunning this story really was,and if I could give more than five stars I would! Just incredible!

I love Tate so much ????
I fell in love with him in Push, and I’ve been desperately awaiting this book since I first heard we’d be getting his story. And it did not disappoint. THIS. BOOK. IS. SO. GOOD.
We get a more complex picture of Tate in this book. He’s still the witty, charismatic, wealthy guy from Push, but here we also see him vulnerable. His fear of being abandoned, his unwillingness to let down his guard and let people into his life. But also, his loyalty and love for the people he does let in. Namely, his found family of friends.
And Lance – our filthy-mouthed, dominant, shy, preacher. He and Tate have incredible chemistry and I loved their story. It was beautiful – I love a second chance romance! But also forbidden and taboo and just, ugh, so good.
Nyla K also really, REALLY brings the spice. If you’ve read any of her other books you know how hot her spice is, and this one has got to me right up there as one of her hottest. The dirty talk just had me ???? And some of the scenes in this book will be very *cough* memorable. HOLY DAMN
If you like Nyla K. If you like MM romance, second chance love stories, forbidden romance, found family, and self-discovery you will seriously love this.

Friends to lovers goodness filled with spice and angst. What more can I say? I wasn’t sure where things were heading after a plot twist but I loved the ending

I absolutely adore Lance and Tate they are perfect together. If you have read Nyla K books before you know what you are getting into when you open a book written by them, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
