I really this story I was hooked from the start it was emotional, steamy, sassy, with dark secrets, pain & unexpected surprises. It had some strange, dangerous but some who were lovely & caring.
I did however think the end was rushed & missed out a chunk, I would have liked to see more of Casey being part of Adlers family but this is another book I can definitely recommend reading.

The first book in the Costa crime family.It is Adler and Casey’s romance full of secret’s,suspense,steam,twists and turns.
Really enjoyed this fake marriage romance.
Casey marries Adler to save her brother.He needs a wife and baby.
Adler is not telling Casey all the reasons he wants her to marry him.It is so sweet how Adler takes care of Casey.
I don’t want to give anything away and spoil the story.There is banter,chemistry,sweet moments,romance and a satisfying happily ever after.
Loved Adler and Casey.
Looking forward to reading B B Hamel’s next book.

This is an absolutely brilliant book. Written in such a way as to keep you totally hooked and unable to put it down. The characters are not really complex but they’re complicated in parts of the book. In this sense it’s a normal mafia book and I loved it. I did guess the main parts of the story correctly but this in no way ruins anything. I really liked Adler which was a bit of a surprise. That man definitely has hidden depths.
This is a book I 100% recommend.

Casey has been working at Adler Costa’s casino since she recovered from a horrible car accident seven years ago, leaving her with leg injuries. She loves her job as it enables her to keep her family going and tries keep her addict brother, Shane, out of trouble. When Shane steals from her casino, Adler makes her an offer she can’t refuse – not if she wants to keep Shane alive. Adler has his own reasons for pursuing Casey and Shane’s theft just made it easier for him.
Lots of hidden secrets, interesting characters, both main and secondary, made this an easy read. Although I’d guessed what one of the secrets were quite early on, this didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book.

He wanted to marry her and for her to have his child but he wasn’t being honest with her.
After agreeing to save her brother and marry him, Adler agreed to some of her demands to keep her happy as long as she was safe because after all she was now his wife but when things turned a little bad, he changed the rules. There was a situation that needed to be dealt with, his obsession with his wife was growing but could he be honest enough with her to reveal the truth about both their pasts or would he lose her forever?
A hot intense steamy read with lots of action, secrets about to be brought into the open and a lovely HEA!.

Adler is deeper and darker than originally thought. His need to protect and save Casey means devising a plan for her to marry him. Steamy, sweet, dark and emotional.

Another exciting crime family to sink our teeth into and Adler and his brothers have certainly got me all excited.
What a way to meet, captivating take to share with the grandkids of how Grandpa met Grandma. And I like how Casey rises to the occasion and her best friend gives the best advise, can’t wait to read more about her as clearly there is something brewing.
