I’ve been tasked with launching a Twitch channel for social purposes for work and must confess to having previously known only vaguely what Twitch is, and so this book is a real boon as I am genuinely an absolute novice. Like all Dummies books this one is clearly laid out and goes back to absolute basics; no prior knowledge is assumed, which in this instance is a good thing.

Whilst not all of the content is that relevant to me (there’s quite a bit on channels for gaming, for instance), much is relevant and it’s proving very useful. Four stars, and a really good starting point for an absolute beginner such as myself as it deals not only with the logistics of creating channels but also how to promote them, etc.

This item arrived safe and well packaged.
Well I was a total dummy when it came to Twitch. I had heard some rumblings about it, including some from companies that had started to embrace the technology.
This guide was exactly what I needed! Now I better understand it’s purpose and more importantly the basics on operating Twitch and running a Twitch Stream! It is However far more than I could have imagined! This book will remain with me as a reference guide. It’s not about knowing everything, it’s about knowing where to find it!
    I highly recommend this product.

Easy to understand, especially helpful if you don’t even have a clue where to start.

If you are not sure what Twitch is and you know what to know, this book for dummies will explain it all in an easy to understand style. Well written and all you would expect from a dummies book.

I’d never even heard of Twitch before, so it was interesting to read a very good explanation on how to set yourself up on this liv streaming platform. Even goes down to the ins and outs of selecting a name (don’t base it on a game because game rebranding can happen). Excellent.

I didn’t read the book myself, but my nephew was very happy with it.

This is a comprehensive guide to getting started on Twitch. It covers everything you need to know and is written in a way that even a beginner can understand. The book is well organised although the images are a disappointment so if you are someone who needs lots of visual aids you may struggle. A beginner could definitely set up their Twitch channel using this book.

    Great introduction to Twitch.

Easy to follow and well set out.

Sadly all of the images are reproduced in a muddy grey scale.
