Great book for simple fast recipes. The dishes are appealing, don’t use ingredients I might never be able to source and to me, look adaptable to ring the changes. Good stuff!

I bought this as a present for my young niece as she’s considering going veggie in a meaty household. I’m sure the recipes are delicious but the main / filling meals are rather smaller chapters than the salads and soups and limited to two different burgers and ‘pasta with…’ so I wonder if she’ll struggle to provide equivalent alternatives to their usual fare.
I’m disappointed by the quality of the book – it looks almost home-printed. All pics inside are in black and white and there are printer roller marks on the outside cover.
Hopefully she’ll be pleased but I have to say I’m not very impressed
