When this book arrived I felt initial disappointment.
It didn’t look much for the money but, having looked through it, there isn’t a recipe I wouldn’t use. I have a lot of cookery books, several about the same price as this, and I have ever only used one or two of their recipes, which makes this book much better value.
Since it arrived I have made the Roasted Vegetable Pasta and the Tomato and Pepper Herby Omelette because the ingredients were already in my store cupboard. I didn’t need to go shopping. None of the recipes have ingredients which aren’t easily available. As a source of inspiration, with simple and straightforward recipes, I can see it will be well used.
The recipes include calories, servings and cooking times and there is useful information on losing weight at the end of the book.
It is also especially useful to those wishing to cut down their consumption of meat
