VERY GOOD car stories: Lots of things to read about cars and the people who drive them
£9.50
Who is the world’s fastest blind driver and what is the Taliban’s own supercar like?
Who spent 50 years driving an electric egg and why was a German teenage driver banned 49 minutes after passing his test?
The VERY GOOD Car Stories book has quite a few things in it, some of them almost as good as these.
Top Gear writer Simon Heptinstall’s last book of car trivia was widely praised (by his family). This one is nearly as good. There are more than 40,000 words of weird and funny stories about cars and motoring in it. If you can’t think of anything to buy a car bore, VERY GOOD Car Stories might do (or you could just give them some money).

I too bought the last one. Spelling mistakes and googled facts, a chimp could do better. Save your money. Review above is by the authors partner to try and encourage sales! Sad all round…..

I got the last one by him and this is an even better collection of quirky stories. I reckon it would make a good gift for anyone, however much they’re into cars. They are sort of addictive and you can’t put it down!

One in seven motorists have thought about giving up driving. 8 per cent of drivers have CCTV to watch their cars.
Some longer anecdotes. Mostly forgetable. Not many very good stories
Says 200 pages but digital version has a lot of blank spaces.
Not worth the high cover price for a self published book with very thin content.
