Excellent book. Very helpful

I just really wanted to say a big thank you to the Amazon people as I only ordered it yesterday and it arrived early afternoon today, Sunday. I have only had a quick look at it so far but it is in perfect condition and looks very interesting with lots of detailed description with social history, and lots of illustrations. I was looking forward to this book and am very happy.

This might be a little book but it is big on information and incorporates many interesting and beautiful images. Jayne Shrimpton’s love of the period and considerable knowledge of dress shines through. A lovely little reference book.
